In-store ordering that keeps lines moving.
Your live menu as a self-service touchscreen, running in a web browser on hardware you choose. Carrot provides the kiosk software, not the device: bring an iPad, an Android tablet, or a touchscreen display, and shoppers browse and order themselves while your budtenders focus on the counter.

Software, not hardware. Your storefront, in touchscreen form.
Kiosk isn't a separate product to buy or configure. It's your existing Carrot storefront in a kiosk layout, delivered through the browser on whatever device you put on the floor.
Runs in a browser on hardware you choose.
Any iPad, Android tablet, or touchscreen display works, whether it's already in the store or bought off the shelf. There's no proprietary kiosk unit to purchase, ship, or replace, and no vendor lock-in on the hardware.
One catalog, everywhere it's needed.
The kiosk runs the same live menu and inventory as your online store, so nothing needs to be entered or updated twice, and an item that sells out online disappears from the kiosk at the same moment.
Customers order themselves.
Shoppers browse and place their order on their own, then pay at the counter when it's ready, cutting wait times during rushes instead of every order starting with a budtender.
Kiosk orders, kept separate.
Kiosk orders show up in their own queue in the staff app, distinct from delivery and pickup, so nothing gets mixed up during a busy shift.
Loyalty and pricing carry over automatically.
Points pricing and promotions apply the same way at the kiosk as they do online, since it's the same underlying platform.
Open a browser and you're live.
Point the device's browser at your kiosk URL and it's ready for customers. Adding a second screen, or swapping a broken tablet, takes minutes rather than a hardware order.
Common questions
Do I need to buy special hardware for the kiosk?+
No. Carrot's kiosk is software that runs in a web browser. Use an iPad, an Android tablet, or a touchscreen display you already own or buy from any retailer, and mount it however suits your floor. We don't sell or ship kiosk devices.
Which devices work with the kiosk?+
Any device with a modern web browser and a touchscreen. Most stores run it on consumer tablets in a simple stand, though larger touchscreen displays work just as well. Lock the browser to your kiosk URL with the device's built-in kiosk or guided-access mode so customers stay on the menu.
How do customers pay for kiosk orders?+
The kiosk takes the order and sends it to a dedicated queue in the staff app. Customers pay at the counter when the order is ready, so your existing register and compliance workflow don't change.
Is the kiosk an extra charge?+
Kiosk orders carry $0 in Carrot order fees, and there's no separate license for the kiosk. It's part of the platform, running on your own devices.
